Basel hint?
After talking to several AD's over the last week's, they all confirmed that Rolex reduced considerably shipping of 2T Daytonas over the last few months. My 2 cents: ceramic 2T Daytona...

That would make sense. Solid Gold/Platinum --> TT --> eventually SS.

Not a TT fan at all, but I think it'd be a good indicator where the SS will end up.
at least I'd still have another year to go before having to lay out some more $$$ |

this actually makes perfect sense seeing as the current TT is a much slower seller/heavily discounted

How about this? Discontinuing the TT Daytona. Your choice becomes PM or SS. The TT have never sold well. It would make the Daytona totally exclusive at both ends of the spectrum.
Just a thought. Lee |

Makes sense for the TT. It is in need of some updating and Rolex does seem to introduce changes to the slow selling models.

I don't know why, but I feel like YG and Ceramic might not work well together. The RG model looks great, as it leans towards the sporty side. Of course I am sure Rolex will knock me off my seat with whatever new Daytona comes out

Seems kind of soon to reduce inventories... The Basel models don't usually hit the stores until what late Aug/September? Hopefully they just discontinued it.

Sounds like a credible theory
Until I'd now I had not considered the TT daytona very much. I noticed when I access the Rolex collection on the official website that the default configuration is black dial TT |

There are dials of the WG Daytona that are being discontinued.
So most likely a WG with Ceramic bezel as well. Knowing Rolex the stainless steel version will remain untouched.
