My 1930s art deco clock

I figured something needed to go on top of the 1935 General Electric A67 Radio I just bought and overhauled, so looked for a time-period piece. What do you guys think? To me, it just screams ART-DECO

Paul, that is absolutely perfect!
I guess you can now say that you have a 1930's clock radio!

Great artifact shopping there!

Really cool, Paul. You've got some good polyoxybenzylmethylenglycolanhydride (Bakelite) going on.

You really should keep it till you find a replacement.
It'll look cool in the meantime.

Rocky, how big do you think my place is? I am afraid I don't have a mansion like yours.

Agreed Paul, last night I shopped on a couple antique sites and purchased two AUTHENTIC 1930s electric clocks, they both looked so good I couldn't decide which one so got the two of them and will decide when they arrive.

Anybody want the 1950s clock? I really don't have a place for it and will send it to anyone that can use it.

I have a modest, yet very cool looking little deco clock in my study
It's not period authentic (runs on batteries, actually) but adds a ton of style to the room
Love it

Pics!!!! That's very cool. When I get the two I purchased, I'll do a poll on here to help me decide which one looks better.

Does it have to be 1930's? I mean, the clock and radio go together very well IMO.

Nice Deco look, some Goldscheiders and Lencis will complete the look.
