Could I say neither? If not I'd choose the OP out of these two

Good luck deciding.

Voted OP as not keen on all the numbers on the AK. Was hoping for new OP dials to be honest (similar to the 36mm without the coloured dots).

The Air King just seems to have 'more about it' to me - if that makes sense.

Loved the history of the AK, but don't like the number sequence on the new one, OP just looks so much more classical.

I like the size of the new AK, along with the splash of green, but the dial's a bit busy for my tastes. I'd go OP.

OP for me. I prefer the simplicity and refinement. But... Aren't we really comparing the old air king and the new one?

Between those two, new A-K for sure. I'm not a huge fan of that OP's dial.

Can I vote 2015 basel OP? I'd take a grey dial OP.

An Arabic or Roman dial would be nice too on the 39 mm.

Air King looks good with that green second hand and green letters. I would pick the Air King.

I think a better comparison would be between the Explorer and the Air King, but I'd have to wait until I can actually see the watches to decide.

However, between the OP and the AK, to me it would depend on whether or not I wanted a sport watch or a dressy watch.

Of the two you listed, I think the OP has a more unique look with the silver and blue concentric dial

I actually really like the Air-King. Although the dial is busy and a bit confusing, it has a charm to it and a throw-back to a pilot watch. The problem is it makes a good 6th or 7th addition to a collection. On the other hand the OP (maybe not that dial) could easily be a number 2 in a collection... MAYBE even a number 1 if you could live without a date. I have a 34mm OP and like it very much (although my wife wears it 99% of the time)

This one.
I don't like the new AirKing at all.

I really like the green and yellow on the Air King, but I don't like the numbers at all.
That being said, I've owned the blue 39mm OP for 7 months, and it's a great all around watch.

Oyster perpetual is better because the new air king's dial is a complete mess.

I'd like the AK better if the Rolex crown was white, and not gold. Slightly smaller and different font for the "air king" would be nice too, but I get the homage. Do like the green accents tho.

Tough one, but OP in this case.
