Icon20 What do you guys think of this one?

Hey all, I'm new here - this is my first post!

Anyway, I'm 20, from London and currently in the market for my first Rolex :).

I want something clean and elegant, but at the same time something that's not hugely understated (I like to think of myself as a bit of an extrovert ...). I'm looking at something a bit similar to this Datejust with the silver concentric dial and white gold bezel. What do you guys think? (The link is from ebay, but I'm not planning on buying from there, I'll buy from a proper dealer). Let me know anyway :).

Only question is readability with the concentric. Otherwise, I love the arabics :)

Great photo MLB! Yeah, I see what you mean about the readability comment, but I really like the concentric dial, gives it a bit of a modern twist I think, which I like...

I have tried DJ's with both the concentric and sunburst dials and both were very diificult to read. The hands king of het lost in the dial, though at 20 you may not have legibility problems! I would suggest trying this model on and "seeing" for yourself. Beautiful looking watch I might add!

If you're aware of the smaller case size, I say it's a good one to start with.

i love the concentric dial- i tried one on and it looks fantastic and i think it adds a little something to the watch as a whole. thats just my opinion

the 116234 is a great watch IMO, i love mine..

but IMHO, i think that dial would look great on an oyster bracelet rather than a jubilee..

just my 2 cent... you can never go wrong with a classic look

My advice would be to pick the one that most suits your personality and lifestyle but also the one that, when you see it,makes you smile instantly
