Hi all, was just wondering what everyone wears on their wrist while on the golf course if you wear a watch at all whilst playing?

No watch while playing. I typically keep it in a Casebudi watch case in my bag. Then bring it out after the round for the interviews and photos!

Extremely, it is a wonderful tool. When I play with guys with range finders, we are always within a yard or two. My watch also gives you layup distances which is huge. It tells me the distance I need to hit for a 100 or 150 yard layup. You can even measure you shot which is fun when you crush a long drive.

I wore a 1016 for years. Lately my 16570. Last couple rounds no watch. It's a superstitious thing....depends how I hit it warming up whether the watch stays on.

Firstly, apologies for the post in the wrong section! Thanks for moving!
The reason I asked this, I was on the driving range today with my date just 2. I wondered if playing golf had any negative effects on watches, the impact etc? Judging by the amount of 'beat around' watches gshock, etc is it because you are also cautious about the damage or is it just a preference?

I really don't like wearing a watch while golfing so I generally leave it at home or stow it in my bag. I also turn off my cell phone.

Basically wear what you want as the watches are tough as hell. I only wear my G-shock because I need a watch when I want the time. And the G-shock is light and it really feels like I am not wearing anything. When I am at the driving range, anything goes. From my GS, to Rolex to Nomos.
