Best eBay watch seller...

Hi was just wondering is there's a general consensus on an eBay seller who is pretty legitimaent and trusted that also has good pricing.

I hear a lot of people probably get the best deals on eBay but he problem is 90% of them are fake or there some sort of problem.

So is there a seller that could be categories as "trusted seller" that has competitive used pricing?

No such thing. Why on earth would you want to purchase on Fleabay vs purchasing on the forums?? IMHO, Fleabay is where people go to unload junk that they can't unload via other avenues. I'm sure there are a couple resellers that are "ok", but why over the forums??

(Based on my personal experiences from buying off both)

check your stats.

i won't mention ebay sellers by name, but regardless, the higher feedback seller with many sales is not always best because powersellers can absorb many, many neg experiences with no repercussions. (it happened to me)

i'd buy within your own country (always) and go with the seller that is in the sweet spot; long history, varied feedback with realistic comments and no listings with copy that omits critical info which could be disputed after the sale. get service info and ask for images only the owner of the watch could produce if it were in their possession and avoid copy that heavily 'sells' the watch. just centre on the facts of the watch.

As we all know buying and selling on eBay can be dicey. If you feel comfortable about what you're buying, you can find some great deals. I've bought many watches off eBay, without 1 problem. Many of the sellers on the forums do sell on eBay, one of the reasons is there is a lot more traffic. Probably 95% of the population has heard of eBay, as far as hearing of any particular watch forum I'm sure it's very low. As for myself, when selling a watch, I much prefer dealing with someone off any of the forums when feedback and references are solid.

I just think that I want to find some deals. But I don't want to be scammed.

If you ever have a question about a watch, post it in the watchout section. There are several pro's that can help you with authentication....

Not necessarily. They're just widening their market reach through eBay. If they're legitamate sellers, why wouldn't they?
