Thoughts?

So for a while I always admired the Rolex Sub, particularly the TT/ Bluesy. I had the chance to actually try one on recently and I gotta say the colors are just phenomenal but the weight is really throwing me off.

Compared to my DJ II and Tag Heuer Carrera the weight of the sub is little to nothing and it really threw me off. I always had a little weight on my wrist and knew my watch was there, when trying on the sub I almost forgot the watch was there.. Anyone else experience this? is this something I have to get used to if I did pull the trigger?

Either you will get used to it or not. I think most people get used to weight differences pretty quickly. I switch back and forth between a relatively heavy watch (Breitling Chrono Superocean) and my sub, and I appreciate the sub even more.

It is of course personal preference. Changed the ceramic Sub ND to a Rubber B strap from stock bracelet and love the lighter weight (and look). If you want to do 16 ounce lifts I suggest a good German bier.

I remember when I got my TT Sub one of the things I didn't care for about it was that it was too heavy

The 16613 is lighter than the 116613. I actually find 5 digit references more comfortable in general than their 6 digit counterparts.

I find my 116613lb to have pretty good heft. You must be trying a 5 digit reference?

I do think you'd be happy with the earlier 16613 with holes in the lugs. Easier to swap onto straps that way.

Well, it's certainly a good thing in my book. I mean, coming from a 16610, I was surprised how heavy the Sub-C is.
