Sending the Bluesy to RSC Dallas

In their form, its says send by REGISTERED MAIL.
I was going to send it via UPS.

Anyone know if that would be an issue..
I know that they dont accept the clear tape.

thanks

I would most definitely use Registered Mail....may take a little longer but it is your safest bet. I am not 100% sure, but I believe RSC will refuse delivery if you don't use Registered Mail...I believe there was a thread on this very topic in the past...

Hey
Yes, service history is not known so I want to be safe and send it in.
Its not a big deal, plus I get a 2 year warranty afterwards

They will only accept USPS registered mail. Nothing else.

Call them, they will email you instructions. Has to be sealed with brown tape.

Edit: I see you already called. Follow their instructions.

They will even send you a kit,(box, foam and tape). I have been there when a delivery of watches was made. Armored truck pulls up. They unload probably ten of the white plastic "computer paper boxes" full of registered mail boxes. Did I mention the heavily armed guards?

Registered mail only to RSC. Or you can send it through your AD and pay a premium.

Well I called earlier and they NEVER mentioned the kit.
Ill call tomorrow again.

Its either that , or I take it by hand to RSC in San Francisco.
Its only an hour drive and may be worth it

From what I have heard here lately, they no longer send a shipping kit anymore. Just instructions on how to package the watch and ship yourself by Registered mail USPS

I called about 2 months ago and was offered the kit. I opted out because I didn't want to wait for it to arrive.
