GMT Master 2 W/out polished SS bracelet?
Are there any versions of the GMT master 2 with a bracelet that contains no polished SS middle link? Like the watch but not a fan of the polished ss!
Not looking for gold or any other variations - just the bracelet entirely in brushed SS. |

If you're speaking of the modern GMT 2c, then no.
But, you can have the PCL's brushed by any competent watchmaker if it's that big of a deal. |

Not with the current line up. You would either have to go with an older 5 digit reference or have them brushed yourself. Be sure that someone who knows what they are doing does it.

GMT Master 2 W/out polished SS bracelet?
I had ABC Watchwerks refinish a bracelet for me. I did the opposite and had the center links polished. They did a fantastic job at a decent price and fast turnaround.

Yes, the 16710, but they stopped producing it in 2007. Comes with blue/red, black/wine, and all black bezel options. Plenty of nice pre-owned examples available.

I've often toyed with the idea of brushing the PCL on the 116718

I was a little hesitant to brush the PCLs on my 116710 but don't think I would even consider doing that to a PM.

It's easy enough to reverse (minus a little material loss). Even on PM models, the brushed surfaces are much more resistant to scratches than polished. Perhaps even more so for gold. I should mention that I love PCLs... just curious what it would look like.

The best option is to replace the bracelet with a brushed bracelet with a glidelock clasp. How much would that cost?
Wouldn’t changing the PCL bracelet to a brush finish change the value of the watch? |

Many experiment by putting the Sub bracelet on the GMT for the brushed look. However brushing a PCL shouldn't affect the value as it's easily reversed.
