Where can I buy a Brushed SS Half Link??
My local AD will not sell me a bushed Stainless Steel half link, part # B32-21029-D1. (For a SS Submariner).
Does anyone have suggestions for a AD or other supplier that would sell and ship me this part? Thanks |

Did you bring your watch to the AD? I heard some AD's won't sell you parts for a watch if they cannot fit the parts themselves. You can try online or on the sales section in the forums.

The only thing I can think of is its not going on a SUB. It's my understanding, when ordering, the AD needs to supply the serial number.

The 'Easy Link' is 5 mm and provides me with a great fit, but I have to wear the 'Easy Link' open. I like the functionality of the Easy Link for when my wrists swell. Seems strange to me that there is not a half link available for the Explorer, but there is for the Submariner which has more adjustability in the Glidelock clasp. Adding a full link in the Explorer adds 10mm to the bracelet and the half link adds 5mm. There are 3 micro-adjustment holes, about 3.5 mm apart (the total adjustability is about 7 mm). When I do the math, the half link would provide a few more options for sizing the watch. As above, the 5 mm would provide me with a good fit. |

That does sound weird. Dont know why an AD would care if its going on his explorer or not. Its a part and they are a supplier. If he gives them money he can put it on a necklace and they shouldnt have a say on it.
Thats like if i went to mcdolands and asked to buy a burger from them. And they asked me are you going to eat it and i said no im going to paint with it and they refused to sell it to me. Its not there concern what i do with it. Im paying for it.
