Gold GMT Market

Ive been watching the used market closely for the last 6 months. Seems the market is getting softer on these ceramic watches.

Is that the case for other gold watches or just the GMT's?

I think it is just gold in general, much smaller market for an 18k watch. I don't think it has anything to do with the ceramic insert of aluminum insert.

How many individual watches did you track for price?

For BNIB/LNIB, no. Now for older examples...maybe. But I think it's in line with other gold models, say the sub, that I see.

I'd be interested in knowing more about what you tracked and for how long.

Generally the depreciation on PM watches is pretty high relative to some others.

Gold GMT Market

Is it possible you have merely been tracking the blro? It has been normalizing for some time and I think it's starting to settle in the very low 20s. Tempting for sure.

I've been comparing costs of the 116718 since buying mine several years ago. It's still higher now than then.

As stated in my post 6 months and every single one for sale on this forum. My opinion is prices are lower from trusted sellers on this forum than ebay for example.

Interesting observation. Could you tell me what the current going rate of a bnib or lnib 116718 is. Compared to what it was 6 months ago?

I have noticed the same thing. I believe that the market did not support the higher prices and the TS have adjusted to move the models.
