Rolex Box writing
Hi All,
Ive noticed not all the old Rolex box have the same thing written at the back. I have one (prob from mid 80's) with 'Montres Rolex S A - Geneve Suisse' with the Rolex logo on either side, and '68 00 08' written just below that. Has anyone else come across this? Or is this a fake? |

Thank you for the reply MonBK I've seen that table and rad the ref afew times since yesterday.
I really just want to know if the writing / text on the box is legit or could it be a fake box. Also Ive actually posted a message in a diff post referring to the chart you have posted. Thanks once again. |

As we are on the 'box' topic, can anyone confirm the box for the following watches:
16013 (1987) - I've found 68.00.02 for the 16014 model is it the same box? 14060(1999) - I cant find a box ref for this closest I got is 68.00.01 for 14060M and 68.00.08 for a 16610 (90's year) |

I always thought the AD chose the box when watches were ordered. The last watch I bought from my AD was a DSSD Blue. The watch was just removed from the plastic shipping box. We did the transaction and a medium size box was set on the counter, I said a monster watch deserves a monster box. The box was switched out fro the bigger box ref # 39141.02 light green outer box light green interior. I just got a GMT 116710LN on the grey market Stickers on full set swipe card dated 04 2016. The same size box has the same ref # but the outer is cream with cream interior.
