Any west coast Daytona C owners?

I see a lot of people on the east coast and central USA have their Daytona c watches already. Do we have any confirmed owners on the west coast in particular in California?

Got a call yesterday from Del Amo BB saying they were allocated one white dial. Called me to tell me they couldn't sell it to me because I don't have enough purchase history.

Yes. Incomings on all coasts. Seems like a pretty steady roll out at this point. Let's hope it keeps up.

That's just cruel and unusual. Why call at all

The store manager joined the call and mentioned that for their 80 locations, they only received 10 watches, and their store was designated one unit. Point of pride they wanted everyone to know I guess.

Exactly. That's just obnoxious and a waste of everyone's time.

Well...you can tell them they'll have to wait EVEN longer for you to have more "history" with them.

Wankers.

I think that is good customer service. They could have just not called and left you wondering for months. Now you can work on a plan B.

I'm in a business where I occasionally have to deliver people bad news, and trust me it would be a lot easier for me to just go dark and delegate it to some junior analyst to deliver the news. But telling people quickly and directly from an MD, even when it's bad news, is the sign of respect and appreciation of your clients (and nets you more business in the long run.)

They want to sell you watches just as much as you want the watch.
