Icon1 ROLEX.....Officially

Hey there,

If you might have noticed, Rolex has officially updated the Daytona's catalog on their homepage. All-SS-Daytona is now officially discontinued.

Wish you all the best.

I am waiting for the day that there are no metal bezels on the Daytona. I love the engraved metal bezel and it is one of the reasons I got my Daytona. It would be nice to have something that is no longer available. It probably will never happen.

Does that mean that my one year-old 116520 is now a "classic"?

I wonder what that means for the 116520 in the grey market? Up or down?

So far up. BNIB from $12,900-$13,699. Haven't looked so much at the worn.

I was at my AD yesterday inquiring about the ceramic version and they told me that the SS version had been discontinued. They also have received no ceramic versions yet and think it will be around July before they get them. They are not taking waiting lists and will sell on a first come first served basis.
I was discussing how they were now being sold in the USA and they asked about pricing because they said pricing has not yet been decided for Thailand.
I told them the MSRP in the USA was $12,400 (I hope that is correct) which is ~444,000 Thai Baht. They said wow, that seems so low and think that it is going to cost closer to ~500,000 Thai Baht. If that is true then the store price in Thailand is going to be ~$13,975.
Hopefully it is all just AD talk as they said they really didn't know what it was going to cost.

Demise of the SS Daytona has been greatly exaggerated.

This has been updated on the website for a couple weeks at least. Thinking about picking up an all steel version to hold for resale down the line Haha

I feel that the full gold watches looks better with the metal bezel.
People do want the gold that's why they get the full gold non strap.

It's still there. That image was just a partial list.

Are you thinking of the YG DD 40 anniversary? That is the only "new" green dial
I know of
