No. I Wouldn't give those two up for a president, especially with the way the market is going. But, if you don't care about ever selling it and getting something else, it is a fair trade (approx. 13k total for the 2 and about 13k for the president).

I would not... instead I would rather hold on to the root beer and trade the Sub C (no date) plus cash.

Agree 100% but if you don't have the extra cash I wouldn't hate your trade either. I just got my 18078 a few months ago and it is sweet!

As a daily, I wouldn't. I'd trade the root beer towards it and keep the Sub. That'd be a great pair to rotate, IMHO.

long term, precious metal watches will not do as well as a classic vintage watch that is highly desirable (the 1991 Rolex GMT Master II Root Beer), if you truly want, trade the sub with cash.

I couldn't let go of a root beer myself. I'm no expert on values but the trade looks fair in today's market. Where prices go in the future gets somewhat speculative.

I wouldn't do it, but that's just me. I'm just not a DD kind a guy.
Think value-wise $, it's a descent trade for now (not long term though).

Its about the right price. Almost a straight even trade in terms of value. I would do it. I love my 118238

" That watch costs more than you car. I made $970,000 last year. How much'd you make? You see pal, that's who I am, and you're nothing." :

To the OP, If you keep one, I vote forthe GMT. Regarding the trade, I say if that's what you want, then go for it. We only go around once. Best of luck deciding.
