Collection update & pics :)
Well i was deciding for a while between the Tudor black bay and the pelagos blue for a daily beater and i eventually settled on something that surprised me. I managed to find a lightly used version of the watch below from 2008 with a solid service history and b&p for the same price as the black bay. I thought it would be impossible to trump the black bay from a value perspective but i may have done just that. The pelagos blue will be my next edition a few months down the road. It will fall into the category of beach watch. I love blue, rubber, and lume. I have been considering flipping the blro for a while now and lately i have been leaning towards keeping it. One of the other pm models i like is the 116619 (smurf) and i sometimes think that the grass would be greener if i purchased it instead of the blro. I think the pelagos blue may even help scratch that itch so it seems like a win win. Well, i have kept you in suspense if you have been reading until now... have you guessed what the new edition might be? Have a look and hope you enjoy :).

Very nice Josh! Just one question... Why have you got a manual wind watch on a watch winder?

Hahaha i knew this would come up. You will notice the top winder is switched off in the picture . Long story short, i have always stored my watches in winders. I dont even own a watch box . I felt the speedy would be sad by itself .. i guess it is a glorified watch box now :).

Fantastic choice for a daily watch that is less blingy than the BLRO. Should achieve the goal of being less conspicuous at work for you. Congrats! MAN ON THE MOON

Thanks guys ! Fun fact - I recently read that omega has stated that the speedmaster was the only mechanical watch to reach the moon. However i found out that the Rolex GMT master has also been to the moon !! Funny that they are both a part of my small collection .
