BLNR fake or not
I mentioned in another post I'm looking for a new 116610 but, I have been admiring the BLNR also. I'm keeping my eyes out and rolled across this beauty. The seller has a fair but firm price. I quickly googled fakes/replicas for BLNR as I remembered reading it was difficult to fake because of the bi-colour cerachrome, and to my surprise they are around. I have not bothered to ask for a picture without the casing on but I think it looks suds regardless. Anyone care to play?
Watch in question Press shot from timeandtide A side by side comparison I found (fake on the left) I personally think the numbers are too thin. Like the 22 on left hand side watch in the 3rd picture Disclaimer I clearly have no clue hence why I ask. I just saw one from a well known seller here which also has thinner, less crowded numbers on the benzel. It really is a minefield. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

We need more pictures in clear detail to be able to analyze this watch.

With all due respect, then you should not be trying to buy a watch in this manner.
Seek out an Authorized dealer or deal with a seller with a solid reputation.

The white gold rings around the hour markers seem a little too thick. Not 100% it's fake, but I know this much-- the camera is defintely fake.

That pic is way too bad/compressed to make any real determination. However, two things make me lean towards genuine (for now): 1. Correct hand stack. 2. Correct (thin) GMT hand. Still, no way to say for sure without better pics. |

Hard to tell with the angle, but the rehaut engraving looks badly aligned around the 16 to 18 area.
I'd pass on it too. |
