The new one because the shiny, steel bezel on the previous version is a scratch magnet. I sold mine because it really bugged me!

It would be nice not to scratch that bezel.

It's interesting I think most owners of 116520 and 116500 think they differ significantly. I personally think so as well owning both 116520s and in line for the white 116500. I don't see the new ones being superior. Just different.

I have the ss white dial version that I am quite happy with. I was able to buy it NIB for a really great price. If I had a choice and the cost to buy was the same for both versions than I would probably go ceramic. I would definitely not pay the current premiums to lay my hands on the new daytona. At a premium I would go all day everyday with the ss version. Wearing and enjoying it for the next few years until the hype cools down. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the ss version.

They are both nice, but the contrast of the new dials is much better than the ones on the 116520's.

New without a doubt the bezel is such a nice improvement - Go for it if you can get one!

My vote goes to the 116500. However, you can't go wrong with either.
