Does this bracelet add or detract from this 5512?

Whilst policing for questionable Rolex watches, I came upon this 5512. It seems as if the seller is asking a premium due to the bracelet. I can't imagine the bracelet adding value to the watch. Thoughts? And also, what of the wooden box? I have seen this style of wooden box for Rolex previously. Is it legit?

It doesn't add any value to the watch, in and of itself. I mean, unless you're David Coverdale (now), or maybe a member of Velvet Revolver, ca. 2004, or collect unbearably cheesy, garish "rock jewelry", and wear a lot of Ed Hardy shirts with illegible writing all over them, I can't imagine anyone wanting to keep that thing attached to any watch.

LOL those outfits and David Coverdale match it perfectly. Also I meant to say that I have NOT seen that kind of Rolex box before. I typed to fast and skipped a word I guess.

In other words... the bracelet is what is supplying the monetary value to the listing..

I think this style of bracelet is beautiful in its own right, however chrome hearts is ridiculously overpriced and no it does not bump that watch up to 22k

Steven Tyler from Aerosmith might have clicked on "Watch this item" because he kind of wants it really badly.

lol... I really must admit that I didn't pay any attention to the actual watch. That bracelet is all I can see in that listing. I will have to go back and take another look!

GNR was in New York last night, I did not go, but Axl Rose's wrists must have gone from a 6" to a 9, so despite the artistic connection this listing would not work for him.

Axl has been enjoying some late night snacking it seems.

Does this bracelet add or detract from this 5512?

I think a combination of a lack of recreational drugs and snacking has in fact added some mass to Mr. Rose. We saw them in Nashville, and for 54 years old they still killed it for 3+ hours in the 80 degree plus heat. And Slash was rocking a LVC.

Oh, that bracelet, not adding to the value I would t think. But it is cool in its own way. Maybe just as a bracelet and keep the sub on a NATO?

That bracelet is ugly as sin, IMHO. Putting it on a vintage 5512 (if it's legitimate, and I'm no expert by any means, but I wonder) is a crime. Again IMHO. But each to his own...

I saw a few minutes of last night's show on Periscope, they sounded terrific.

When searching for that image of Axl posted earlier, someone had created a meme with the caption "Knock knock knockin' on McDonald's door..."
