Possible 16750 purchase advice please.
So the owner of my local Rolex AD has a friend who wants him to sell his 16750 for him so he can buy a blnr. The 16750 in question was purchased new by this person in 1988 so it has only a single owner, it is a 9million serial. The watch has been recently serviced by Rolex and I have been assured the dial and hands are original. It comes with full box and papers. Knowing the situation and if everything checks out, do you think $6000usd is a fair price? I will not be able to see it and take pictures until Saturday but I am anxious for input.
Cheers, Josh |

You'd need to post photos of the watch and full set to get informed opinions, but based on your description, yes, I'd say it sounds like a fair deal.

I concur on all accounts. Look on chrono24 and see what they are going for? Is it complete with box and papers? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes box and papers with the person's name on papers. I can be assured of accurate history and authenticity as it is coming from a reliable friend of my AD.

The watch would be worth substantially more than $6,000 if it is in good condition and it has the proper accessories and warranty paper included. It's hard to make a completely informed opinion without seeing some photos of the watch.
Good luck!

Complete and documented 16750, pay up if need be. If they need $6000 to put a deal together and you can get it for that take it and run. If you don't DM me and I want a shot at it. Look forward to the pics. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

A fair deal.
The range imo is $5-6.5. Any more than that, it should be an exceptional piece.
