FS: Vintage Tudor 76100 Submariner Head Only circa 1988

Vintage Tudor 76100 Submariner Date. Serial number 230xxx is circa 1988. This is the full size 40mm mens model with acrylic crystal and rolex signed crown & caseback. The original matte dial has developed a nice patina, although some of the lume has flaked as is visible in photos. Also, the hour hand has clearly been replaced which is common with this particular model due to the original hour hand being prone to cracking.

Condition:
Condition is “excellent”. Approximately 88-89% per the TimeZone guidelines. The prior owner of this watch stated that it was serviced in November 2015 but could not locate the receipt, however, markings found inside the caseback seem to validate this claim. Regardless, watch is keeping almost perfect time with very strong amplitude.

Accessories:
Head only. No box, papers, or bracelet.

$2650 includes domestic (U.S.) two day shipping with insurance. Bank wire preferred but paypal may be considered if buyer is well established in the watch community and agrees to pay the 3% fee. Rolex/Tudor trades may be entertained but no other brands, please.
