1975 tropical gmt value

Im considering buying a 1975 18kt tropical dial gmt, and was wanting another opinion on what its worth.

Check pricing on chrono24, as to my understanding pricing isn't discussed on this forum.

What is tropical about a regular GMT brown nipple dial with what appears to be damage at the 6 o'clock ?!

I have to say, I'm not seeing any evidence of the dial going "tropical." Better pics maybe? Regarding the handset, are these service replacement parts? The case looks like it might have been aggressively polished. How does it look to you? Lastly, I'd look at watchrecon to get apples to apples comps, chrono24 will have more inflated prices.
