I'm missing you guys a lot!! Likewise???
Hi guys,
As you are all aware, I've been well and truly tied down to the Olympic Games, especially in the evenings (my time) which is like the afternoon in Beijing which is 4 hours behind NZ time. I certainly miss you guys and would like to apologise for my few posts and absence!! I miss you guys and hope you guys miss me too!! After all of the above, I don't even want to hear some of the comments that are going to follow!! Cheers all - JJ

I've been away a lot recently myself, but for different reasons. Do you miss ME as much as I miss YOU, JJ???
Now that's a loaded question if I've ever heard one!

I step off the train I'm walking down your street again and past your door But you don't live there any more It's years since you've been there But now you've disappeared somewhere like outer space You've found some better place And I miss you - like the deserts miss the rain And I miss you - like the deserts miss the rain Could you be dead? You always were two steps ahead of everyone We'd walk behind while you would run I look up at your house And I can almost hear you shout down to me Where I always used to be And I miss you - like the deserts miss the rain And I miss you - like the deserts miss the rain Back on the train I ask why did I come again? Can I confess I've been hanging around your old address? The years have proved to offer nothing since you moved You're long gone But I can't move on And I miss you - like the deserts miss the rain And I miss you - like the deserts miss the rain And I miss you I step off the train I'm walking down your street again and past your door But you don't live there any more It's years since you've been there But now you've disappeared somewhere like outer space You've found some better place And I miss you - like the deserts miss the rain And I miss you - like the deserts miss the rain And I miss you And I miss you - like the deserts miss the rain And I miss you - like the deserts miss the rain The deserts miss the rain - like the deserts miss the rain The deserts miss the rain like the deserts miss the rain YEAH RIGHT!

During his 'lengthy absence', he made 278 posts and his average post count dropped by 0.67 posts a day. If that is his way of 'slowing down', a most horrible faith awaits us all when he returns with all guns blazing.
Please, save yourselves while you still can! Head for the mountains, find an unused air raid shelter from the Cold War era.

Pfft!!! That's only a small fraction of his usual post count. As for when he gets back in his usual posting stride, the Internet itself will suffer a horrible fate!

You're still watching the Faux-lympics?
C'mon JJ, you're now under 40 posts per day, and there's no one to pick up the slack. We're on life-support here, pal. It's looking like the Omega forum is going to displace the Rolex forum unless you hurry up and get your baaaah-dass back here! Read your membership agreement again, my friend. You don't get vacation.

You got that backwards, Carolina. Our gain is Beijing's loss.

Actually JJ has not been watching the Olympics, he has branched into public broadcasting, and its his favourite subject (apart from talking about himself)

I still don't know what these Olympics are. I've read some reports about an activity where the fireworks were partly cgi, where some girl lip synched because the girl doing the actual singing was not "cute" enough, where some athletes were stripped of medals for one reason or another, and where some guy who won seven gold medals in 1972 was snubbed by not even being invited to the activity.
Whatever, yes JJ, you are missed!
