Suggestions on glide lock clasp - Advice needed

Good evening, folks -

I have a question relating to the glide lock clasp on my TT Submariner. I picked up two new Rolexes at a Rolex Boutique just today (one for me, the other for my wife). My watch seemed to have fit perfectly without the need to have any links removed. I noticed later that the glide lock setting is about at it's very lowest/tightest. So I doesn't have much (if any) room to make the band tighter if ever deemed necessary.

The above said, would it be recommended to have the watch fitted to where the bracelet rested toward the middle setting of the glide lock so that there were equal distance to adjust in either direction? Thus, having a link removed?

I realize this may be a strange question. But just wanted to solicit the advice of those far more learned in this particular realm than myself. Appreciate any input. Thank you.
