Small wrist review on AP ROO steel Bracelet

I just picked up an AP ROO 42mm Panda on a bracelet about a week ago. After searching and asking question of how comfortable a ROO bracelet will feel on a small wrist man (6.50")

Here are my findings...... I Love it. And it Feels great.

Before everyone goes and buys a bracelet for there 42mm ROO. Please read.

When i first got the watch i decided to size it myself. After finally get the right screw driver. A little smaller than a 1.4mm as the 1.4mm still didn't fit even though thats what most people said they used to size the bracelet.

I noticed that i had to take every extra link out. Meaning if you have a wrist smaller than 6.50" this bracelet won't fit. It won't get any smaller. So I'm pretty lucky i just made it in terms of fit. Another thing is because of how the bracelet is designed if you take the bracelet all the way down to no extra links one side is actually one link longer. So the center deployment clasp does not sit center on the back of the wrist. This is probably what bothers me most but doesn't take away from the fact that if you have a 6.50" wrist. Yes you can wear this watch on a bracelet and be totally satisfied with the feel and comfort.

Im very surprised how well its holding to my wrist. I sometime forget its even on. Overall a great watch and probably my favorite piece in my collection at the moment.

My girlfriend didn't like the watch when she first saw it. But as I've been wearing it more and more she has admitted to me that it looks great. Not too big for my wrist and has a nice presence to it. Which is what i was worried as its a bulky watch but not so bulky that it looks weird on us smaller wrist guys.

Hope this helps as i think this may be the first review of this kind on here about small wrist guys wondering about this specific topic.

great insight - thanks for sharing

i will bear in mind once ive sucummbed to the watch disease and picked up the roo that has my name on it - although at 6 1/3 i think that rules out any breacelet for me given your links findings.

Thanks for the review! Good to know, as I also have a 6.5" wrist. Do you have any pics of it on your wrist?

I don't yet. I tried getting one but they don't look as good as I've seen so haven't posted yet.

I don't wear it as my daily so it only sees about 20 hours of wrist time in the last week and a half. But super surprised how comfortable it has been for 5+ hour wears. I can't even go an hour with my Panerai before its bothering me.

Ill get one a picture this weekend and post it.

You're going to love it. Honestly.

Probably most comfortable bracelet other than the President Bracelet in my opinion.

Well the Daytona comes on an oyster bracelet. Which comes on a lot of the rolex watches. Yes, i love the oyster bracelet as well but what you are talking about "comfort" it also has to do with the watch. A lot of people say a Daytona is one of the most comfortable watches. But when looking specifically at the bracelet the president and AP in my opinion are far superior in feel and comfort.

Cant wait to see your watch on a bracelet. You're going to be quite surprised.

Nice review!! It looks great. Glad I took the AP plunge as well! I've been only Rolex for 19 yrs. I'm ecstatic at how versatile the RG44 is......especially on my wrist @ 6.5 in. I think it's just a matter of what you get used to as well. It's the first time I've dealt with a rubber strap, I find it very comfortable. Makes a big difference. My SubC definitely looks small now.

I am in the same boat and AP unlike some other brands.. fits extremely well on small wrist like mine. I have the Chrono ROO and fits well with strap or bracelet and I have the newer AP skeleton at 41mm on bracelet

Really I should try on the 44mm. I always thought it was to big but if you're saying with a 6.5 wrist size it's do able. Def take a look next time I'm at a boutique.

Ive had no time. Im only wearing it about once per week. And usually just at night.

I know ill do one tonight finally to get it over with. It won't be a cool one with a cool backdrop. But ill get it. Hopefully the review really helped some people though i know i wish someone would have done this review for me before i took the plunge.

That admission right there constitutes a temporary ban from ALL watch forums!

I know, i know. I think my collection got to big (laugh, if thats even a thing). I wear my GMT II 95% of the time as its my work watch (Monday-Friday). Giving me only 2 days (Saturday & Sunday) to split between my 3 other watches.

First world problems.

Its not a pretty picture but with all the insisting and not wanting to be like "muchtalk" who made people wait 35 pages of a topic to finally show his collection. Here it is......

I'll have nicer pictures on my Instagram hopfully this weekend.

Edit: Can someone explain to me how to rotate the picture. This always happens.

Yeah, just turn 90º to your right.

Seriously though, use the phone in portrait orientation, not landscape.
If you don’t, then you’ll need to rotate and save the photo first, before uploading it.
