See Ya Later Summer!

Well, school starts tomorrow. It has been a nice relaxing summer. I guess all-in-all I'm ready to go back. I still find it hard to believe one year of high school costs more than a friggin Rolex. Ahh, the price one pays for education. Well, the price my parents pay.

Nothing wrong with wanting summer to last forever. I do.. Not get your young butt to school.. Your parents pay now, you will pay later.

Keep your nose to the grindstone - and parlay that one friggin' rolex into a hundred more. Your parents must care a lot to spend the money on (what ought to be...) a great private education. Good luck with your studies - I know it's no picnic!

'Tis not, but it really isn't that bad. Plus I still get to spend time with friends. I have to say that I am excited to take Latin and Anatomy and Physiology. But then again I love all things medical.

If I am still alive when you get out of medical school....I am seflpay and you will not have to worry about waiting on funds.

That's what I'm talking about! LOL. Just wait about 17 years to have heart surgery and we're good. hopefully you'll never need it though. This iPhone keyboard lag is really starting to piss me off. P.S. I also accept payments in Rolexes.

I truly wish summer would never end. Up here in MN it seems to end just as it starts!

So are you in a pre-med program now? Where do you go to school?

If your parents are paying for your higher education, appreciate it since it's a lot tougher when you have to pay for it on your own.

No, it's just a private k-12 school. I wish I was in pre-med now.

Good luck with the school year, Tyler. Keep us posted from time to time as studies permit.

Thanks everyone. Well so far so good. I am really enjoying my classes thus far and I really like my schedule. For anyone interested here it is: 1st period Latin 1, 2nd period Graphic Design, 3rd period Honors European Literature, 4th period Honors World History, 5th period Honors Anatomy and Physiology, 6th period Honors Pre-Calculus, 7th period Study Hall. I went to this school before, and then went to a public high school for my freshman and sophomore years. I am now back at Oakwood for junior and senior year. I am loving the 7 period 45 minute class schedule. I have been on a 4 class 1 and a half hour per class schedule. It started to get really long. Not only that, but the class sizes are very small at Oakwood which I love. My largest class is history with about 14 people and my smallest is literature with 3 of us. Yes, it's small but it ensures one on one time. Not to mention they require us to have a laptop (a Mac of course) which helps with many things. Oh well, back to studying.
