Rolex Opens Expansive Boutique in Singapore Featuring Permanent Exhibition

Not sure if already shared here, but Rolex just opened a new boutique in Singapore with a permanent exhibition. Anyone seen it yet?

Thanks for posting. It's interesting to see how far Rolex has developed in Singapore over the last century: www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=478802

thanks adam, that's a very informative/entertaining read. one of the first things I read in this forum.

i'm new to rolex (having resisted for so long) but I noticed that singaporeans have long enjoyed a love affair with rolex. it's quite common to see old "uncles" and "aunties" sporting old Rolexes which I imagine have been with them for 20+ years. and of course the tons of mom 'n' pop type of shops that sell/service them

Hong Kong and Singapore are quite similar in that way. Long history with Rolex.

It is a really nice boutique with a very large inventory, including some hard to find watches. They said they are the second largest Rolex boutique in Asia after the Shanghai boutique.

Here are a couple of photos from their DeepSea Exhibition.

Yep - went there last week, very interesting exhibition area... they had an "old stock" SS Daytona, brand new for $18 K SG, I thought about it over a drink... but declined.
I was shown around by Olivia Meng, she was very helpful, it's well worth a visit if you're in town...

The Deepsea watches were displayed as part of their exhibition and I am not sure if it will be permanent or temporary. They have a mini-museum there demonstrating various Rolex accomplishments and developments over the years, including the parachom hairspring, the new 3255 movement and a few others.

I can't remember if they had other vintage pieces as I visited just before their closing time and I didn't get to spend as much time as I wanted. They were very accommodating and didn't rush me at all though. The boutique is so new that they want people to spread the news about the new "Rolex Experience" aas there is nothing like it in all of SE Asia. There is a lot of competition in the city with dozens of ADs, so it is a nice way to stand out.
