I decided on my next purchase

With so many choices, did I want another Speedmaster? Another Explorer? Maybe a GMT Master! And I almost decided on the GMT Master.. But... I have made my final decision...

An LV-C "Hulk."

It must be done. Hoping to be able to purchase around Christmas time after some saving and a decision cool-down period.

Good choice, especially considering the production volume which is approx. 1/4th of the black submariner. You just need some luck to get it, if you want to buy from an AD. Before I bought mine, I calles like 30 ADs before finding one who had it in stock.

Well I live in Germany and it's so rare that I was really lucky to get one. The AD was in a city about 2h distance to me by car and had one hulk and one batman incoming the day I called. After 2 hours the batman was reserved and the hulk reserved for me. The AD told me the guy who bought the batman drove 3h and I was actually doing well with 2h, haha.

Not "rare" per say in the US from seeing them all the time @ local ADs. But still highly sought after for a reason. Word of advice, just get off the forum and stop reading about other watches or even the LVC (to hype yourself) up and just save. Nice Christmas present.

Just got mine two days ago and love it! My AD had one in the display case and another factory fresh still in its shipping coffin. I of course went home with the latter!

Sick reference, bro!

To to OP, I'm a big fan of the cool-down period - I've been in one for over a year! It's been two years since I got a new watch, and I've been hunting, searching, comparing, and debating. Once I settle on something, I give it a few weeks and I've inevitably changed my mind on what I "need" each time.
