Is there any love for the Two Tone 15400 Royal Oak?

I was browsing through the AD and I came across the TT 15400.
Before I got to try it on, the Mrs felt an incoming and pulled me out of the store ASAP.

Does anyone on TRF own this reference? Haven't seen any posted on the forum.

I've been on the fence thinking about a 41mm RO. Do I want the full RG? Stick with SS? I currently have a few TT's that don't see the light of day since I prefer full PM or SS. They were watches I purchased before I could afford to plunge into PM. Something about this reference stuck to me when I saw it though.

The Rose bezel sitting on the case just jumps at you in 3D IMAX

Just the spotty bracelet puts me off, wish the gold was more fluid as on Rolexes.

I generally don't care for TT anymore, but I really like this one.

Not a big fan of this one, even though I do have a 2-tone bluesey, which I love

I tried one on a few months back. It's hefty, and a little too large for me. It's also ~$25K, if I remember correctly.

It's not worth 2.5x what a 15400 white is just for the gold bezel and links. Imo

"I currently have a few TT's that don't see the light of day since I prefer full PM or SS."

Would the TT 15400 end up the same way? IMO on this reference the TT distracts more than it adds. Now a full rose gold RO, that's another story.

Wasn't that the hot combination when AP introduced the Royal Oak?

As you mentioned in your post about the other TT's you have that don't see the light of day.

I just don't see why someone would buy TT if they can afford full PM.

The full RG is a beast!

Still prefer blue dial 15400. They are priced around the same.

It's beautiful. I tried one on at a botique once, but it didn't do it for me on the wrist.

Not a fan of TT personally. Now AP RO in full RG or even YG with a blue dial ... that's a different story. Simply beautiful.

I'm another that prefers either all-steel or all-gold.

It's the only TT I ever considered steel and rose gold contrast very well in addition to polished and brushed surfaces give it a lovely appearance.
Only problem is the price
In fact it's so beautiful I am having a hard time wearing it ,, most of the time it's on my wife's wrist

Would MUCH rather have RG ROC on strap for less.
