Which of these two is the easiest to resale ?

Very simple question, at least for me so as to know which of this two I will buy this week, "SUBMARINER NO DATE" or "SEA DWELLER" ? thank you very much indeed.

The Sub will be easier, but both watches will ok if you buy into them at the right price.

Note: The Sea-Dweller is hit particularly hard after peeling the stickers. Avoid buying at full price.

Both watches are good. Try them on to really know. The Sub has better residuals, though.

Submariner would be the easier of the two. Expect to lose ~$1,500 off MSRP. Sea-Dweller, while there is a market, do not sell as fast. Sea-Dwellers usually lose ~$3k off MSRP once stickers are removed. If you're looking to flip in a couple months go Sub.

Better resale on the Sub. But don't discount the Sea Dweller solely because of that - it's a great watch!

ditto on the sub but it really depends on what your price is out the door.

As others have said sub is easier to sell with a higher residual.

My question is why would you ask this question going into the purchase? If you are unsure if you can afford to take a hit why not wait until you are in a position that you aren't worried about resale?

I will go with the sub as well. Believe it or not, there's a sizable chunk of people who don't even know what a sea dweller is.

Easy, no date.
But the SD4K is superior IMO.

Why buy a watch thinking of the resale? Never could understand that. Aren't you buying a watch to enjoy wearing it? Who knows, you may actually love it.

IMO if you're thinking about resale, you're probably not thinking about why you want the watch. But hey, it's your money.

I prefer LIFO rule (Last in First out) instead of FILO (First in Last out). I enjoy watches anyway with one eye watching the market.

The Sub will cost less to purchase and will lose less value for resale. Both great watches. I went with the Sub.
