Going back and forth

I'm leaning towards making my first AP purchase and thought I was ready to pull the trigger on a white dial AP ROC, but then I saw this and loved it, but can't find a model number of any info on AP website. Would appreciate any help I could get from you guys on model information. Thanks!

Can the carbon bezel be purchased VIA clearwater for a 15400? I think this would look awesome on mine, I just happen to put a big gash in the SS bezel and crown after a night of heavy drinking at a wedding.

The bezel is Tantalum, and I don't think AP sells them.

So even the steel version has a Tantalum bezel?

Damn, that Tantalum looks awesome against the steel bezel. Wish it was Carbon. I bet it costs an arm and a leg compared to a carbon bezel price.

I'm kind of in a conundrum, I can probably use a carbon fiber brush to blend the ding in and wait 2 years for the B1. Or send it to Clearwater now, and tell them just to refinish the bezel and probably need a replacement crown, but I have a feeling this type of damage will occur again. So it would be a waste of $300-500 or whatever the cost of refinishing bezel & replacement crown is. Sad thing is I literally bought this watch from the AD brand new about a month ago.

Yeah, I guess you are... Ever think about a 44mm with the CE bezel?

It happens. Just wear it and enjoy it. It will get a few more bumps and scratches along the way. Send it in before the 2 years is up and APSC will test it and you can ask for a light polish and laser fill any deep scratches.

I had someone drop my 2 week old ROO on the bar floor...sh*t happens. Still works perfect but has a little ding that will be laser filled when it goes in for a check.

Had this but on a BNLR on a motor bike in Thailand after a night of heavy drinking, funny thing is that it would have been fine had I not decided to ride it cross style...
And no it can't

Yeah your right, I just brushed it with the carbon fiber brush, it doesn't look so bad now. Funny thing is, when you scratch the bezel, it changes to a polished metal look. Now it looks uniform brushed look, I'll just wait until nearly 2 year mark for the B1, makes no sense to take it now.

Funny thing is me and the buddies were taking some watch pics throughout the night and the bezel was fine in the photos, until I woke up the next morning.

It's very expensive. It's twice the price of a normal ROC. I would go with the white dial ROC.
