First Rolex purchasing advice.
Hello all,
I've been a lurker on this forum for years. First, I was lead here when I had interest in of all things an Omega Planet Ocean. I've always been interested in watches, at HS graduation I was given a Tag Heuer professional, I know, I recently gifted it to my nephew. Anyway, I have become more seriously interested in watches and wanted to buy myself one for my 40th, but got antsy and bought a Speedy from a trusted seller on here. Now, almost 41 and I'm pretty sure I will go tomorrow to purchase a 114060 from an AD. Any thoughts on negotiating the price down at all? Has anyone bought from Sydney Thomas Jewelers in Newark DE? Any thoughts/comments would be greatly appreciated. I had initially thought I'd buy an Explorer II polar because I have multiple black dial watches, but the Sub is just too beautiful. Cheers, Jeff |

A 10% discount would be nice, basically it will come out to the price of the tax. If your a "peace of mind guy" and not concerned with a bid saving then go with AD. If your comfortable buying from a seller here, you'll save more!
