Welcome to the Forum!
Yes, it has a service dial. Nice shape for a mid-90's GMT. |

Looks ok, but that is not a great enough deal for me to consider purchasing from US to Japan.. For sale section here has some beauties for not much more money, but a ton more piece of mind

Honestly, I'd have just as much peace of mind (if not more) buying a used Rolex from Japan. The used market over there is incredible and most Japanese sellers are quite meticulous in underrating their watches for sale. At least that has been my experience when buying in Tokyo.

Excuse my ignorance. What is a service dial?
Edit... never mind. I googled it. This is from Member and moderator Mike from an old thread..... "It's the term usually given to a genuine Rolex replacement dial. Usually occurs when the watch is serviced, but dials can be obtained through sources for installment for what ever reason." |

Thanks guys. The other extreme was to spend 6500 getting one with box and papers from Bobs. Anyone have a specific recommendation. What should price be?

Watch is genuine.

If you like it buy it I think it's a great watch. I've personally purchased two watches from eBay Japan sellers I've never had a problem.

Hi folks: can anyone offer advice on pricing for a Rolex GMT Coke circa 1980s-1990s? In decent condition with book/papers from reputable seller?
