Panerai prices have increased in the UK

I was having a look at prices on the Watches of Switzerland website https://www.watches-of-switzerland.co.uk/brands/panerai and saw there's been an increase on those that I recognised.

The 533 has gone from £10,200 to £10,800 and both the 312 and 359 have increased from £5,600 to £6,100.

Whilst in the OP boutique here in Singapore yesterday, the prices were the same as when I bought my pair three months ago.

Interesting news, surely related to currency fluctuations, but, still a sign that the brand is strong. Otherwise, OP could have taken advantage of the Pound drop and "self-corrected" in that market.

Thing is, I'm in a major dilemma about my third PAM. I decided against the 690 because I'm not a big enough fan of the Radiomir. I really like the 372 but couldn't live with plexi glass. What I'm really jonesing for is the one that turned my head so hard I nearly snapped my neck and that's the 533

In glad my 359 has increased in price. Does this show that it's going to be considered a well sought after watch and may one day be considered a vintage go to piece in the Panerai line?

The 372 is an amazing piece and a Paneraicon () but I know me and a crystal that scratched that easily would drive me berserk. I'm still self-harming because of the bezel on my Daytona.

I missed this part, duh me!

From what I've gathered from my sources at home, the price increase was on the cards anyway because it was overdue and it wasn't a reaction to the UK's vote to leave the EU. How accurate that is, I have no clue; it's just what a couple of my guys have told me. Anyhoo, Panerai is owned by the Richemont Group, who also own Cartier and MontBlanc, as well as a few others (like IWC and Vacheron Constantin). Cartier prices went up before the UK vote and MB prices go up annually

Was on the Rolex website yesterday and it's price increase there too. All nicely for Christmas. Seems a similar increase to OP.
