Not sure if anyone noticed but it looks like the clasp on the 116500 is hinged. Pretty cool design...

It's the same on the 116610. Perhaps all the modern clasps are this way.

It's also nice to see that the little bumps that hold the safety latch in place are little spring-loaded parts and not just domes that were molded into the metal.

It has to be hinged to unlock it from your wrist.
If it wasn't hinged (and spring loaded) it would never open!! |
