FS: 1968 Omega Seamaster Cosmic Ref. 166.035
FS: 1968 Omega Seamaster Cosmic Ref. 166.035
This 1968 Omega Seamster is a very clean and classic piece. This would make a great functional daily driver. The day date function is especially useful and the charming warm matte silver dial really adds to the overall charm and feel of this piece. The case of this Seamaster Cosmic Ref.166.035 is in flawless condition showing very minimal patina and wear. The case is still sharp and the original factory starburst brushed finish is in an untouched condition which really makes this watch stand out. The original bracelet is also a nice touch but this specific Omega Seamaster cosmic would look just as good on a leather strap or nylon NATO! Offered at $650 USD We are always open to offers and trades. The case is still sharp and the original factory starburst brushed finish is in an untouched condition which really makes this watch stand out. Often we find these watches and they have been heavily polished which detracts from the value and allure of the piece. This one is in absolutely stunning condition! The original 1069 bracelet shows very minimal stretch as well and comes complete with the original 137 end pieces. The seashore is still visible on the case back as is the omega logo on the crown. DIAL & HANDS The dial on this Seamaster is unique as it has a silver matte appearance with an applied "flat foot" Omega logo which is of "pre-moon" era. The color of the "Pie-Pan" or step dial is even and uniform showing very minimal patina. The applied hour markers really provide depth and dimension while on the wrist. The day/date function is also very cool and useful especially for a watch of this caliber and reference which adds to the tangible functionality of the timepiece. The hands have a slight patina and the tritium lume dots at the end of each marker and within the hands have aged to light creamy yellow. ACCESSORIES None. The watch was recently serviced and is keeping time accurately. The watch will come with a 1 year warranty of accurate time keeping.
