Tudor AD Pics

The Tudor Black Shields don't get much attention here so I thought I'd post some AD pics I recently took. The ceramic is well done and the dial is nicely detailed, and the watch wears similarly to the TBB but maybe smaller due to the stealth look. I like the black and white version the most but have yet to try one on. Any other pics are welcomed.

I'm having a strong sense of déjà vu.

They are great looking watches, but I'm not drawn toward low contrast dials at this stage of life.

I'm also a little leery of the durability of ceramic cases.

Otherwise, I think that look great.

The all black is nice. Well priced for a ceramic watch.

I like it, seen this in a couple of watches, the markers and the strap with that vintage look, nice! Reminds me a bit of the vintage dark side of the moon.... i like ceramic cases, maybe one of these days...

Like the all black, but I couldn't have one as I wouldn't be able to tell what time it was :-)

Great pics. Personally I've never been a blacked out type. I agree these are executed pretty well for that look though

The ceramic case is well made, I was worried it might look a bit toyish but it doesn't. The red and beige models aren't right for me but the white one seems legible and the white punches up nicely. My AD will only special order one with a non-refundable deposit so will have to find an unworn one to try on. Never had a blacked out watch before and the white is very rare so it does make it more appealing.

I do enjoy them but am with Grady. Readability is high on my list of required features. And even the black shield is hard to read to me. I have a few Tudor and this may be my next one.

Or maybe this one.

This one is a possibility as well. But on a bracelet.

Or who knows, maybe the mystery (kinda) Tudor launch next week????

The North Flag is growing on me more and more. The first one I saw was on a strap and that yellow just overpowered the complete look; it looks great on the bracelet.
