Reeds Jewelers SCAM
I wanted to warn everyone on this site that Reeds Jewelers based in North Carolina with around 90 stores in the South East region of the US is involved in what appears to be a major scamming operation. I purchased a Rolex from one of their stores around 2 months ago. This was my first Rolex purchased and I was assured that they are a reputable store and authorized by Rolex. Well, this does not appear to be the case. I found out after having the watch for 2 weeks that it is indeed a fake. Rolex hasn't been of much help other than allowing me to file a complaint and assured me they will investigate. I paid 14,800 for the watch and I am very very upset with Reeds and Rolex for not keeping a tight watch on one of their "authorized" vendors. After talking with Rolex day and night for 2 weeks and having my lawyer involved it has come to be known that this is not the first time people have complained about Reeds selling fakes and also attempting to pass of used and previously registered Rolex's as new. Just wanted to make everyone aware and warn you to stay away from Reed's in all cases.
