-Exorcist
-Alien
-Audition (the whole movie is a tension-filled build up to the last 20 minutes or so. You know something is coming but you don't know what till it happens)
-The Thing
-August Under - I couldn't finish it. Way too realistic for my taste. I felt really uncomfortable afterwards.

Although not the scariest, Halloween is, and will continue to be my favorite movie of all time. I can't count the amount of times I've watched it.

I forgot about Wolf Creek. Although, I think I found that one more funny than scary. "Head on a stick"
