Incoming - New addition to the family. Back to a classic.

Greetings everyone. Prior to my most recent acquisition, I have had the pleasure of owning a Submariner Bluesy and a Submariner Hulk. Both of which I absolutely love. For a bit now, I have been wanting to add a two tone DateJust to the lot. My very first Rolex was a two tone DateJust on jubilee that I purchased at 18.

I had looked at the new DateJust 41 and I just wasn't feeling it. I liked that it had the jubilee bracelet available but wasn't too keen on the clasp. I much prefer the hidden clasp on a jubilee. I just think it looks better (to me). So after a bit of back and forth, I elected to return to what I felt was a classic; the 36mm two tone Datejust on jubilee w/hidden clasp. The price I was able to acquire for this timepiece was almost criminal. I thank - in part - this forum for educating me on how and where to go about making purchases separate and apart from an AD. Nothing against AD's as all of my prior purchases have been through AD's and have been very positive.

Congrats. If I ever get the bug to buy another watch, I'm seriously going to consider something like this. Classic watch. I love it.

An absolute classic, and IMO the proper size at 36mm. The 41 is nice but the icon is 36mm
