Deepsea Blue on Rubber.. don't need any other Rolex

Hi
I bought a BLNR as my first Rolex back in May. This gave me the bug, so within 2 months had added the Deepsea Blue.

Cut a long story short , added a rubber strap and not worn the BLNR since. I honestly believe the Deepsea Blue on Rubber B is perfect combo. I have no idea why Rolex doesn't offer it !

It's just cool!

I would be a fan of Rubber B and Everest if they had the metal endlink that attach to band to the watch.

Glad it is working for you. Personally the design with the rubber outside the lugs really irks me but I dig wearing the DSSD on NATO or Isofrane.

I love that domed crystal! Wish Rolex would do it on the sport watches or at least add an anti-reflective coating to the sapphires. I like the rubber strap as a second option for weekends etc, but would definitely wear the oyster band more.

I agree. I had a rubber b on my last deep sea and by far was my most comfortable and well balanced watch in my collection.

I plan on getting another rubber b for my new deep sea

Do you always wear your watch on top of your wrist bone like that....and with the clasp right up against the bottom of your hand? That looks very uncomfortable.

Im getting a everest for my blnr too. But I went tang. I know I will switch between rubber and oyster often. Seems too annoying to use the original clasp. Plus will preserve the clasp better in the long run too.

Can someone tell me if the Everest for DSSD allows for original Rolex spring bars or do you have to use thinner like with the SD4000?

For me it is still hard to comprehend whey you changed perfect Rolex bracelet to some cheap rubber band. It is the same as to buy Ferrari and put cheap Chinese tires on it.
