Rubber strap conversion kit for RO 15400

Anybody get this option for their RO? I'm in Vegas and saw it on display. $1400. Looks nice imho.

For 1400 I would do it, it's rather cool to be able to switch between bracelet, rubber and leather...

I have this for my 28560 ROC and do like it. But I think it would be most useful for a smaller watch collection. I find that I keep my AP on the bracelet and when I want a strap watch (rubber or leather) I just grab one of my other watches (I have 7 with various dial colors and various straps/bracelets). It is quicker than changing the straps.

It's funny, I actually like the black dial version more for the rubber strap duty. Though come to think of it, a blue rubber strap on the white/silver dial would look awesome for the summer...

It looks good! Is that from the AP boutique or the jewelers?

I assume that price includes the deployment?

The strap isn’t the problem, it’s the deployante clasp.

Oh I see. I've never owned a AP before so didn't realise just thought it was all rubber

I have to go back today, the salesman was busy with another client yesterday and I had a conference to attend. Bummer I didn't bring my RO with me so I'll have to visualize what the strap will look like on a white silver.

As mentioned above I have white silver. I'm considering gray or blue for the strap. However I have a Pelagos blue and a 116613lb on a blue everest strap. So I'm leaning on the gray.

Thx for update! I think grey will be a great combo. I myself has a silver dial 15400, if you buy something I'm expecting pics!

Same!

I have a 15400 RG on leather but just got a black dial diver that I don't love and would trade it in for a 15400 SS with the rubber strap.

I pulled the trigger on the conversion kit and the grey rubber strap. I love the RO's bracelet but I'm also excited to swap in the rubber to change things up. Pics to follow!

Yes $1400 (tax included) was all-in for the deployment, rubber, and the conversion pieces.

Yeah I'd love to see a pic of it with the silver dial, which is what I have. Looks amazing with the black dial.

Sorry for posting on a old post but I too am looking for this strap. Is it only available for purchase at AP retail stores?

Anyone know the pricing on leather straps? I’m assuming it’s hard/impossible to get the third party makers to do one due to the unique shape. Curious what APs pricing would be, as the appeal of this would be to have a range of straps.

Rubber strap conversion kit for RO 15400

As I have the 15407st I think another SS RO on bracelet would just be redundant, so I’ve been thinking and looking at other options, one being a ROC on rubber strap.

AP did make the LE QEII ROC which was a Ti case on rubber strap

And I do like the white ROC so have considered putting that on a rubber strap but in a way it does seem a waste to pay for the complete watch for the bracelet to just live in the safe!

Or do I just sit tight and hope AP release either another cool Pt/Ti model maybe a PC or keep my fingers crossed on a Ceramic ROC (know they currently do a Ce tourbillion version but I’d prefer the fewer 0’s and forgo the tourb)

i prefer rubber to leather almost universally on RO's. However i think there are better watch options if you want rubber. First and foremost being switching out your SS daytona for a WG Daytona on OF.

Hate to say it but nothing excites me from the current Rolex offerings! The WG Daytona does look good but still think how the oysterflex integrates with the clasp looks a little bit odd they did a better job with the leather strap clasp.

I’m the opposite and think the way the RO integrates to the strap is great and on pair with the Aquanaut which I feel both do a better job then Rolex, granted the AP silver dial ROC on a black or white strap would be a real sporty feel casual only wear, where as the 5164 would be a more versatile option as can really do sports and smart.
