Used Datejust buyers guide.
Hi all, I'm looking to buy a used two-tone Datejust and was just after any pre-purchase tips you might have. I've decided I want one with a 3135 movement and sapphire glass, so that means it is roughly a 1990 onward and although many might find it a bit 'bling' I am keen for one with diamond hour markers (i.e. something like this). I've got a couple of Breitlings, and am keeping an eye out for a small hands Daytona, so this will be something a bit different and more of a dress watch for formal occasions, black tie events and stuff.
Do any of you have any good DJ buying tips? For example should I be looking out for polishing of the gold? What should I be looking for in a good jubilee bracelet etc? |
