Thoughts on Hadron Collider?

Saw that it began operations today. Some think we are "playing God" which may have negative implications.

Nope, just learning how our universe works!

I can't believe the number of death threats the scientists are getting.

Sad.

There's not one big enough for you Earl.

Seriously, when they first exploded the atom bomb, no one was sure what would happen. Maybe a chain reaction would be set up that would destroy the world. Now scientists have a much better idea as to what will happen, there's too much hype about it.

I would be interested to know how much $$$ they have spent on this experiment so far.
It is the worlds largest machine.
I think they "know things" that they have not let out of the bag.
Pretty serious investment just to help understand the Universe's creation.

Lets see if I understand? You get a black hole with a hardon collision?

If the universe is enveloped by a black hole, will it magnetize my Submariner?

I heard that when activated, it creates a sort of time shift, jumping everything back 13 seconds. Just enough to correct a single mistake.

Don't you all realise that we actually all died in the year 2000 as predicted by the great prophesiers and this whole "life" thing is just the echo of our combined conciousness swirling in the void.

Another theory is that the Hadron Collider's real use is to etch the Ceramic Bezels for Rolex.

Hmmm, maybe the Hadron Collider can be used to knock some sense into my ex's thick skull.

Not so quick Joe. You were the "dark matter" that actually caused the whole explosion back in the day and have been "haunting" us ever since.

The opening test is just injecting one beam into the ring. They're yet to start colliding particles and that's the experiment to create a black hole. We still have another 2 months
