Hey all,

Just wanted to share a drink with the first watch forum I joined, TRF.

Since joining, I've found everyone to be extremely helpful, and this forum has opened my eyes to an array of watches I'd never even heard about before.

I agree that this is a forum that is made great because of its members. I like the fact that people from all walks of life chime in and participate. Look forward to your posts.

:) What brought me to post this, was I was banned (can't believe it) from another watch forum (obviously won't mention which "oppression free" one it is ;)) for the most ridiculously small thing (saying someone was attracting attention to themselves by posting an "I'm leaving thread"), and subsequent mocked by other members. The moderator in question, who did the banning, left me with the goodbye message, "Wanker". Classy.

It just brings me to recall that I've received nothing but help from the members and moderators here, and that this place has always seemed to have a strong community, and values politeness in kind. I look forward to a long membership, and toward getting to know people here a bit better!
