Bracelet Stretch

Hey guys,

Sometimes I let my brother borrow my Exp2 to wear for a day or two at a time. His wrist is slightly bigger than mine, but not enough so that adding another link in the bracelet would make sense. Is there any chance that his wrist could stretch the bracelet whatsoever?

Thanks and have a great weekend!
Evan

Bracelet Stretch

You wearing it looser has greater potential of 'stretching' the bracelet.

That's what I've been told by watchmakers as well.

"Stretch" will happen more often from dirt and grime being stuck in between the links. It wears away at the links from the inside.

Your brother should get his own watch in my opinion though

Short answer: no. As others have said, make sure to keep the bracelet clean and you will avoid stretching the bracelet too much as years pass.

Agreed! No need to describe in such a manner.

None if it's sized correctly. Avoiding 'stretch' is all about keeping it clean and snug, So metal on metal contact can't wear anything away or at least it's kept to absolute minimal.

Dirt and grime cause stretch.

Couldn't agree more. Locker room cr*p that makes TRF seem like a boys club. this forum has one of the best, and most respectful to all people, atmospheres on the net. This is disappointing.
