Half vs Half

LOL!! In case you guys think I'm nuts....hang on a minute....till you read the rest of this post....

I find that most of you type HALF as 1/2, but it looks better as ½, now doesn't it?

So what's the secret? Simple!! If you want it to come up as ½ then do this...

Press Alt on your keyboard and holding it down, then key in 171 on the numbers on the right. So....Alt (pressed and held down) 171 = ½. BINGO!!

Thus, 4 1/2 looks so much better as 4½, right?

And if you want ¼ then press Alt and 172 = ¼.

Cheers - JJ

More proof that JJ has been sitting too close to the microvave oven again.

or go to
Start > Accessories > System Tools > Character Map and you can find out all the weird symbols that you could type if you are willing to spend an extra 5 minutes on your post.

Another example of JJ going off half-cocked with another half-assed idea, like some half-wit. If he continues to such a half-hearted attempts to create threads, he will not have a very long half-life on this forum.

Most of the time he is a laugh-and-a-half, but this topic is pretty lame, so I give it a 0.5 out of 10 for this one.

Sometimes you can be a real "meany", Al....and to think that we actually met once!!

Where is Jacqui when you need her?

Oh JJ, it was just word play on your post, nothing more.

And where is Jacqui when I need her? Well, that's kind of a personal question JJ, even though we have actually met (twice!).
