AP Diver 15710 white dial

Just got my first AP diver watch. I was planning on getting a black dial, but the white one really caught my eyes. Love the contrast between the dial and the surrounding darker colors.

Sweet! That one really caught my eye when I tried it on, too. Did you get a good price on it?

thank you, all!
I was looking at the new VC overseas 4500V blue dial. stopped by a local AP AD, when I walked out, I completely forgot about the 4500V. Hahaha. I paid 14.4K for it. not sure if it's a great price. but I think at least it's a fair price. Please don't tell me I overpaid. LOL

I think that's a fairly competitive price for BNIB from an AD! Congrats.

congrats, I'd also be torn between black and white. White on a bracelet looks amazing btw! Better than black IMO.

Beautiful watch! Wear it in good health.

Why does there seem to be a distorted gasket below th bezel at 7pm... Optical illusion?

Because the assembler looks to have not put the bezel bolt through the hole of the gasket.
That needs returned to APSC, even if the dealer has their own watch repairer and can do 300m dry WR testing.

Beautiful watch, congrats! But there is definitely something wrong with the bezel gasket installation - I can't imagine that would have slipped past AP's quality control after production, so this watch was most likely opened up for some reason after the fact. It needs to go back.

I have to be honest, I did not like this piece the first time I saw it in person. However, it has slowly grown on me to the point where I would consider adding it to the stable. And this is coming from a guy who has flipped 3 black faced divers !

Its a great piece, enjoy it !

But, as others have pointed out, have the rubber gasket looked after. It is NOT right.

I took it to the AD, AD said they can fix it in house, but I insisted it should be inspected by APSC. so now, it's on its way to clearwater FL. again, appreciate the feedback. can't believe I didn't see it. probably got so excited look at the dial. you guys are awesome!

AP poor QC

AD said they never opened it up. If that's true, I am kind of nervous about the AP's QC process. the watch is on its way to clearwater now. thank you

PS: I attached a picture from the back which clearly showed the gasket problem.

No problem, AP will get it worked out. I can't imagine how that passed AP QC, then sat in a dealers display case and no one noticed save 3 Internet forum members via pictures.
Good thing you never took that watch into the ocean.
