Your experience with the Tudor in-house movement
TRF,
For those of you have Tudor watches utilizing the new in-house 70-hour reserve movement, could I ask what you experiences have been? Reliable, stays within COSC standard? Thanks in advance. Thinking of a Destro or a North Flag, as I already have an ETA BB. Thought I would start a general thread on the topic.

My Destro runs +1.5 seconds a day. Wears very comfortably on rubber strap. Bright and long lasting lume. I like everything about it.

My Blue Pelagos runs around -1 sec per day. Haven't tested the power reserve as I haven't taken it off since I got it

Have worn mine 5+ days a week since receiving.
Now I have never timed but I have also never had a reason to as it seems to be running great. Maybe here seen I'll time over a week or so. |

My pelagos blue has been the most accurate mechanical watch I have owned to date. Not uncommon for it to be within a second after a week.

My BBN with the in-house loses about 1-2 seconds per day if I wear it. If I rest it flat, it loses 1 sec/day.
An interesting thing I've noticed is that if I shake it rigorously (to wind it, rather than unscrewing the crown), it actually gains a few seconds. The longer I shake it, the more seconds it gains. |

My blue pelagos is as accurate as my Rolex. From purchase, it has gained 1 second a day for a month. Very good indeed. It is slightly noisier than my Rolex, but I can only ever hear it if I'm in bed with my watch very close to my ear. Blinding value for money....

I own the Black Bay Bronze, Black Bay Black, Blue Pelagos and the LHD Pelagos all of which have the in-house movements. They are all accurate to within 1 second a day and the power reserve is as stated. I also own the Chrono Blue which has a modified out of house movement and it does about 3 to five seconds slow a day. Not enough to matter. Great watches and very wearable. Also, a significant value.

all these comments remind me of eta 2824 and eta 2892's
depending on the brand they are all regulated within certain specs these responses can be seen on "what is the accuracy of your breitling superocean" threads |
