Collectible?
Going to be in the market for a lnib 16610 full set. Should I try to find one of the later year subs with engraved rehaut? Could they some day be considered a collectible transition model? Does anybody that has a 16610 wish it had the engraved rehaut? When I had my last 16610 I didn't really think about it.

I've got a m serial with the engraved rehaut and between the lugs. I doubt it will ever considered a collectible or given a big premium. If you want collectible go for a 16610LV

Collectible, I doubt it. Just far to many out there in the world, and with only minimal changes over such a long production run. Engraving or otherwise....
Just find the best condition watch you can, for a price you are happy with, and enjoy it for years to come. The value will then be, that it was your watch to hand down to the new generation of your family. Don't you already have a 16610?

My personal choice would be the model with SEL and lug holes. I believe model years A, P, K, Y - approx. 1999 to 2003 - not sure there is a huge collectable difference for any of the 16610. I would be more interested in condition and papers.
